A baby hamster starts to open its eyes around 14-16 days old.

Their hair starts growing immediately after birth but you won't see any signs of it until they are 4-5 days old, when it's just reaching the surface of the skin. By two weeks old, the hair covers their body but is still growing. It will continue to grow until they are 3-3 1/2 weeks old. If they are a long-haired Syrian, the longhaireds won't be distinguishable from the shorthaired littermates until 3-1/2-4 weeks old.

about a week for the hair to come in fully and 8-10 days for the eyes. Shortly after the eyes open they will become more active and start moviing around the cage. Dont mess with baby hamsters. Dont move them around much or keep looking at them... its a big cause of hamster canabalism. Just let mom be mom. Raised lots of hamsters and each breed is slightly diffrent for growth rates.
