I'm in a computer/study area and this guy who is sitting a few seats away from me is moaning. I looked over to see if this is a situation I should leave but he's not doing anything. He's just sitting there moaning. Should I take any action against this??

No, I'd sit and let him moan to himself. If he needs help, he'll ask for it. Otherwise, he's moaning to get attention and in that case, don't give it to him.

If you mean you're in school, I'd call a teacher's attention to it...or whoever is in charge of the area...just say he's sounding pretty miserable, and maybe he's sick. And if it was me, I'd move further away if possible...just in case.
