No, I'd sit and let him moan to himself. If he needs help, he'll ask for it. Otherwise, he's moaning to get attention and in that case, don't give it to him.

If you mean you're in school, I'd call a teacher's attention to it...or whoever is in charge of the area...just say he's sounding pretty miserable, and maybe he's sick. And if it was me, I'd move further away if possible...just in case.
