It is a little tougher than just downloading a form. A social security number is required on an application for a TIN for a business. Then, the Patriot Act requires careful scrutiny of business purpose, especially with banking needs. You should also decide what type of corporate entity you wish to apply for: LLC, INC, etc. As a sole owner of an LLC or INC there is something called Sub-S Corp. This ensures you do not pay any taxes for all income made until all deductions for expense are made first. You will also be required to pay tax and business licensing fees wherever you decide to operate the business from. Finally, the easiest states to incorporate are Delaware and Nevada. Factually, there is no easy way. It requires paperwork completed accurately and becomes part of the Federal data base.
