Britney had more than enough publicity without resorting to the extremes she's gone to over the past several months--reckless behavior with her children, continuous partying, appearing in public with no panties or flashing other body parts, checking in and out of rehab, shaving her head, etc. Unfortunately, I think we all have a front-row seat for one of the biggest nervous breakdowns in history. But we all know what's going to happen next--eventually her keepers will lock her up somewhere for an extended 'vacation' and in a few months or a year, she'll be back with a new album, a book and a movie deal about her 'traumatic experience.'

maybe. however, fame, money, and power can make celebrities do very strange things. just look at michael jackson. i don't think she did it just to get her name in the headlines, it already is! unless she was jealous anna nicole was getting more publicity? personally, i do think that she shaved her head because it was so damaged from all those extensions and colorings and she just wants it to be healthy again. although, why wouldn't she just do that in the privacy of her own home? so, yeah, i guess it is some sort of publicity stunt or a huge cry for help. does anyone know if she was acting drunk or high?

She's always in the headlines , so it's no necessary for her to go to such extremes for publicity. I think she's under severe stress & headed for a breakdown. I hope someone close to her convinces her to get some help before she really does something bizarre.
