what should i expect to pay for this part and proper installation???

i own a repair shop,and i don't think the old ones can be repaired ,they can be replaced,and sometimes the old one can be cleaned out,but any shop should be able to do this for you i don't think no one specializes in this particular kind of work,check all your local shops they should be able to help you with this,good luck i hope this help,s.

I work for a Ford dealership up in Winston Salem and they can't be repaired. Replaced only. I also reccommend that you have them to a Major Fuel Service on the vehicle. It will break up and remove most of the carbon build up that most likely caused the EGR valve to fail. This will also prevent other parts from failing due to carbon build up.

Wht don't you fix it yourself it would be cheaper just to buy the part and put in on your self EGR valves are not that hard to replace and the price would be far less expensive also..

egr aka exhaust gas recirculators are not repairable,you buy a new one and replace it.
