Round collar shirts Tank tops with large waist band baggy trousers or loons
shaggy permed or curly hair platform shoes..........farrah fawcett flick backed sides to the hair......shinny glittery tops or hot pants and long cardigans chunky plastic highly coloured jewellery
or there is Punk...see destroy it put pins in it and wear it.

Bay City Rollers or Abba cozzies, ask your mates what their mums and dads have stuffed in wardrobes! should be easy enough, or dress up as a 70 year old!!!! you did say 70's, grey yer hair, put sum glasses on, get a walking stick, go like one of the summer wine characters!! the one with all the holes in his jacket, get to a second hand clothes shop like oxfam....

I dressed up like a one of those hippies last yr at one of the parties. Had a fren loaned me a HUGE afro , i had bell bottom pants , platforms n a floral top thats absolutly retro wid floral prints n huge yellow framed sunglasses! lol Have fun..ps : dun forget eyeliners!

go as a 'pothead',,,,just play the part,,and keep your eyes almost shut and speak 'random' and without reason,. guests will chuckle!
Dress in faded blue jeans and an old teeshirt and tennisshoes,,,and bring a fake bong along and constently ask your friends to 'take a toke',,,,use terms like,,,far out,,,no-way,,and wow,,,

go to the op shops look for hot pants, or Kulots (dont know if I spelt that right) or dress up like ABBA, they were very 70's ... ... ...
