The oldest civilization comes from Iraq, between the rivers. There, villages started even before the begging of farming- they were able to support themselves by gathering the wild wheat and barley in the area.

The oldest known civilization is said to have been where modern day Iraq is. But the oldest human remains were found in Africa. So it would be one of these two areas.

We are made to believe that all the continents were once joined together as one, so it would not be correct to choose a single place as the cradle of civilisation.
But also history says speaks of the Egyptian civilisation as the oldest civilisation.
so its got to be in Africa.
