Why isn't my Webcam connecting?

My webcam will work with my desktop downstairs, but it won't work with my laptop upstairs... I have a wireless broadband connection. When I try and use the webcam it keeps trying to connect and after a few minutes it will say no connection found... anyone know how to fix this?

Did you install the drivers for your web cam on the "upstairs" laptop?

Also did you try other USB connectors you may have available?

download the drivers for the webcam then it should work functionally
