It is not true. It will appear to be true but it is not.
Hate , an internal build up of negative emotion, is an equally painful feeling. If , as you say, the hate is gone there is a sense of remorseness within us. A feeling of utter guilt and , then , a release from that guilt that afterall we are out of it now.
The pain that you are referring to is actually this remorseness , which is a sort of cleansing medium. May be a little irritation. a little sensation but no pain at all.

I think yes. Hate is so outward bound. Pain is of course inward. Hate is powerful. Pain is hurtful. Hate is great for blame Pain is inbound blame. Hate gives feelings of superiority. Pain gives feelings of inferiority. Hate redirects blame to the other person. Pain implodes blame.
So if one can truly release hate, all those painful subterfuges will have to be dealt with. Not easy stuff. Either of these.

We are dealing with pain on daily basis like it or not. But once hate is gone we will see things clearer and suddenly what we now consider pain will not seem as such for wisdom and the clairty of mind will enable us to see the world for what it is. All that is bestowed upon us is good and welcome.

This is really a psychology question.
The answer is yes! Hate can be the tool we use to cover our own problems. ie blame blocks the view of yourself. Once you realise what your own cntribution was - pain happens. However it is a liberating pain. It leads to the freedom never to have to have it again.

Usually after you've acted on the hate. But they can coexist and one can simply exist without the other. Also, more often than not, it is the other way around: pain triggers hate.

When hate leaves, life will begin! Life will now be seen as beautiful. No pain exists in that freedom of having no hate.

Once hate is gone, you can start living your own life. It will take time for the feeling of loss to disappear.
