My home page is set to Yahoo. When I type something in the search bar and it brings up the results, I try to click on the site I want to look at and That site dosnt come up. What comes up is another search site like toseeka or monster market place or finding tool...... When I try to back out of it to go back to the yahoo search it wont let me it just stays on that screen..... Ive tried searching through google and msn and it does the same thing. Ive ran my anti virus and it cant find anything.... Ive gone through and deleted all my temporary internet files and cookies thinking it was something in there...... Sometimes it opens up in a whole new screen and all I have to do is close it to get back to where I was. Its almost like a pop up. The only thing i can do to get to the site I want to go to is to type it in the address bar and sometimes that dosnt work either....... Im lost, any suggestions?????

Hm.... are u using Internet Explorer 7? I hope so. Lets see... I have a few remedies that u should try... Tools>Internet Options>Security and set cookie level to Accept all Cookies, then Advanced>Security>SSL2.0,3.0 enabled, and check other boxes that seems suspicious,.... and if still not...well..

If you have XP just go to control panel look for restore, set it on a date that your computer was working well,
you will see a calender with large numbers click on the one that was before the computer started to act up,
and click it,
in a few minutes you will be asked if this is what you wanted click yes and your home free.
but before you do that, if you have google search bar fire it, it may be conflicting with another search bar. i find google very bossy, and be careful if you have Picasa the picture program its the bossiest i would fire them both.

I had a similar problem before. Try using anti spyware. If that does not work then as a last resort try format one partition of your hard disk and reinstall your operating system. That will fix the problem but you will lose all your data on that partition. So, try out the anti spyware softwares first.

Download Spybot and run it.
Chances are you've got a piece of spyware in there and its redirecting you to other sites.
