This question has clearly been answered by no one but Eagles fans. Listen I like Brian Dawkins he's a big hitter and an even better leader for the birds, but there's no way he's better than Rodney Harrison.
Listen I hate the Patriots and I hate Rodney Harrison even more. He's a big trash talker and just a punk. Harrison has 3 rings and makes really big plays in the playoffs. His most memorable play came against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2004 AFC championship game in Pittsburgh. The Steelers were down 14-3 coming off a huge turnover and were inside the 5 yard line going for a touchdown that would make the game 14-10 going into the half. Instead, Harrison jumps the route and intercepts Ben Roethlisberger and takes it 95 yards to the house and seal the deal at half putting the Patriots up 21-3 game over.
These are the types of plays that define a career. I can't think of any type of plays like this for Brian Dawkins. When it's all said and done I believe Rodney Harrison will be a hall of famer and Brian Dawkins will just be a famous Eagle that was really good in Madden.

Ok wow slow down people... it depends on what you mean. you have two types of Safeties in the league... hitters and coverage DB... Brian Dawkins and Rodney Harrison are two different kinds of players... Lets not forget that both men have been plagued with injuries so obviously we are talking bout in their prime...
If you want the hard hitter and solid tackler its definately Brian Dawkins. The guy is better at run support.
But if you wanna talk intelligence and coverage its Rodney Harrison... He's faster more athletic and rarely get beat deep which is why the patriots had good pass defense...
Look at the stats... who had more tackles and who had more interception when both played all 16 games...

Rodney Harrison was way better than Dawkins.......He showed up in the big games while Dawkins did absolutely nothing

Brain Dawkins is consitantly making plays for the Eagles and rarely suffers injury... thats the main reason why he is better than Rodney Harrison although when Harrison isn't injuried he can compete with ne one, injurys just seem to be his worst problem

you have a hard question to answer. in their primes i would have to say Dawkins. I am a cowboys fan but man could he hit and come outta know where cuz hes not that big of a guy. but Harrison was the dirtiest safety. when he laid into you he might give a Lil punch or something else along those lines.

hands down Dawkins...and I absolutely despise the eagles...Dawkins is the only player on their roster that I can respect. Harrison doesn't deserve any respect, him and Roy Williams (DAL) are the dirtiest players in the NFL and scum of the earth

hey it is me. the answer is clearly Brian Dwakins. Rodney Harission sucks balls. Patriots suck rellaelly who loses to colts when the pats are leading 24 to 3.shhhhhhh u know eagles are the best. this is Big H saying Brian Dwakins is the best.
