D.C. won’t become a state…anytime. I doubt that Puerto Rico will become a state ever because they get the best of both worlds. While you are fantasizing about territories becoming states…what about Guam?
The fact is, none of them need statehood. As we have achieved Manifest Destiny, we have no need of adding stars to the flag.
