Yes, it is safe. All women in my family members did it.
Actually, I've never done this before, well once & it was only half day. It was very annoying & I had difficulty to breathe, so I decided to do some small exercise & walking instead. I started with small work-outs 6 weeks after giving birth (hospital suggested so). It worked better, at least to me. Not more than 2 months, I lost 9 kg & I lost another 4 kg on the 4th month after giving birth. I won my previous weight back. BUT.. my body shape changed a bit; wider hips & stretch marks don't disappear :(

I really wouldn't recommend this. Your womb etc is still contracting and shrinking after you give birth and putting one of these machines on wouldn't be advisable. You should do normal light exercises. I have two children and my stomach is back to normal and flat and i did normal exercising and plenty of walking as well as watching my diet ( i ate like a pig when pregnant lol!). Probably best to ask your midwife and see what she says but the machine will be no more affective than you doing normal exercise.

Realistically it can take up to a year to get to where your body was before pregnancy. the quickest way to get back in shape is to breastfeed as this causes the womb to contract. also to take a walk with your baby in stroller every day. i would suggest the elastic belts are not your answer in this case.

I wouldn`t recommend that i think you should leave your tummy to settle , let all the muscles and tissues get back to normalish naturally ... as long as you eat healthily and exercise it shouldn`t be a problem ...

I didn't and my tummy's back to normal. It only took 6-8 weeks. That's just me though. I would ask your doctor. They also tell you not to do crunches for 6-8 weeks, because your muscles have to knit back together.
