Check out NOAA's National Climate Data Center at http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/oa/ncdc.html

I did several searches, but could find none. Mostly, they just say what the record snowfalls are. They do not allow you to specify your own area.

For Southern Region NOAA, you can check out http://www.srh.noaa.gov they have historical data there. From that link you can link directly to your region of the US.
