Use a jet pressure washer! I used this and it comes up like new without using any chemicals!

i use hydrocoloric acid deluted with water. <1:7> put it into a waterring can and sprinkle it onto path lightly. scrub it into the path and let it sit for 10 mins and rinse it all off with your hose or buckets. not a pressure washer as it will damage the path with continueous use. also the acid leaves concrete snow white like new. bad point: altho it kills moss it can also kill plants near the path.

Like many of the other folks have said - a jet pressure washer works a treat. My patio was in a right state but after a blast with the pressure washer it looks great again - just like it did when it was first laid.

Use a pressure washer without any bleach or chemicals an it will come up like new.When done you can buy a coating solution for it from B&Q etc which will help it to stay clean and make future cleaning easier.

3 parts bleach- one part water
"Scrub" and let dry.
And yes a pressure washer is great but we all don't have one.
Keep pets off till dry.
After dry wash with soap and water because you killed the alage/moss but it may still be there.

My mother uses one of those high jet powered water cleaner things to blast it all away. Oncce it's gone, put weedkiller down.
