it all started in high school (9th grade) when I met my crush BJ (she is gay). We are really close friends that developed into a relationship. We talked on the phone & everything. Every time I see her my heart begins to pound & when she puts her arms around me I get this weird feeling all over. But, I also have been talking to this guy that i like. The problem is I like to think of myself as straight, but every time I see BJ I get this weird feeling all over. Am I gay or Bi-sexual?

You can't limit human sexuality to three categories. It's more of a spectrum. It sounds like you're more sexually attracted to men, but more emotionally attracted to women. And if you have strong emotional feelings for someone, it is easy to develop sexual feelings for them, too. Do what feels right and natural, and don't judge yourself or let others do so. No one has all the answers; if anyone says they do, they are full of it.

Do you like the guy sexually or just like him? If you are gay, you can still like guys as friends. If you find him sexually attractive you could be bi. You could also be straight, and only have feelings about bj because that was with whom your feelings were first aroused. There is a saying "no one can ever replace your first love". Do you look at men or women when you feel like looking for a partner? That will help you decide. Some people start with one sex, then change teams.

You are what you are, don't let someone on this Answers page dictate to you otherwise! Deep inside you know how you are, don't try to fight it. My best friend from K-12, liked boys until we were 10th grade or so and since then she has liked girls also. I always told her I loved her, but if she ever touched me in that way, I would never speak to her again, harsh, but she knew that was the worst thing I could ever to do her. However, I do think women are attractive, how can anyone not? Women are plastered everywhere in our face on TV, videos, movies, internet, magz, etc. I also think that has a lot to do with a lot women and girls now having lesbian tendencies.
Let your heart discover what your mind cannot figure out and be honest with yourself. Good luck in your endeavors!

You shouldn't limit who you love. If you have feelings for someone wouldn't you be happier accepting those feelings. You could talk to your friend about it and tell her you are not sure. You don't have to define your self as gay or straight. One year you may fall in love with a girl. Another year you may fall in love with a guy.

Bisexual?? that depends on how u feel abt guys..
but if yr not having any attraction to the opposite sex in any way, that makes u a gay.
Don't worry. Its not wrong. Yr just starting to understand yrself. Lear. Take time. Don't go pondering yet.
Since u said u have emotional feelings for a her.. Yr more to gay.

FIRST OF ALL, ignore the rude, inflammatory, and derogatory comments above.

Secondly, there's nothing wrong with being curious and open to options and possibilities. You don't need to define yourself, now or ever. Just follow your heart and your own feelings. You'll find your way. The answers won't come on a message board; you'll find them in life. Good luck.

You might be Bi or you just might be curious. In the final analysis what difference does it make? Just go with the flow. Try it out. See if it works.
