After they were told not to climb.I would like to see more of this.

Cool yes, sufficient no, I think they should have to flip the the bill for the total cost of their rescue as well as do a few months of community service... I have no respect for morons that take not only their own lives for granted but the lives of the brave men and women that have to go save their sorry azzes...

Somebody has to pay the bill! I don't understand the mindset of some of these people!
Fortunately they were smart enough to have tracking devices so they could be found. The most idiotic thing I heard, was how some climbers don't want to be forced to use these because it "takes away from the thrill of climbing". Fine, then next time they get lost, nobody should look for them, and they can have the "thrill" of being lost and dying on top of a mountain.

Absolutely appropriate; when people climb where they are not supposed to, and need to be rescued, they should pay the expenses. I bet they're not complaining, either!

it only seems right that they pay at least part of their rescue costs - i'm sure $1500 didn't even begin to cover it
