I tend to leave all my revision at the weekends as most of my time is occupied during weekdays with coursework and essays, but when it comes to the weekends I do not know how time can fly so quickely, you wake up around 12 O clock after a long hard week, you eat and then you rest and before you know it, its around 5 O clock (usually when I come home from college and start doing my work). I always make a vow to myself that I will wake up early at the crack of dawn and start my revision to make up for the time I've wasted throughout the week due to my slowness which is not my fault everyone is diiferent right. Anyway, every weekend seems to just fly by weather its going out to play or going shopping or even just sitting down and watching TV. I don't want to make the same mistake as I did last year by not revising at all and wasting valuable time uneccassarerly and resulting to grades such as D's and U's. I've taken on 4 A levels this year and moved to another college I want to pass HELP!

Inner discipline, my friend ~ there's no easy and soft option:-( . You "don't want to make the same mistake", but watching TV, getting up late, playing, and very possibly shopping are your ways of actually doing just that -- making the same mistake. Procrastination is a very long word, and it takes WILL to not do it. Even being on Answers can be a way of procrastination:-). Are you doing things on Friday nights that get in the way of being awake and ready at 9am on Saturday mornings?

Also, how well are you attending to a few physical things that can help, like diet and exercise and getting some sunshine on your skin even in February when it's available?

One solution would be to rent a room close to the college, or pay for a private dorm room, so that you wouldn't be distracted by friends and family at home.

You could also go to the library on weekends and find a quieted, secluded area to work.

You need to isolate yourself so that you can work comfortably in a quiet environment without any outside distractions.

I know that it is a sacrifice, but in the long term, it would be worth it.
