On this keyboard (Library keyboard. Not mine) theres a message that says...
"To reduce risk of serious injury to hands, wrists or other joints, read Safety & Comfort Guide"
Do they reallly think anyone's going to read that?? Would you??

Wow, now they've got disclaimers on keyboards. What's next, a warning on my toothbrush that tells me not to swallow it?

Someone probably tried to sue the library when they noticed there wasn't a sign that said that and tried to say they got carpal-tunnel syndrome when they weren't notified about a Safety & Comfort Guide.... what some people will do.... just my opinion ;-)

I take all library directives seriously. Have you ever been the recipient of Librarian Rage? It's not pretty, I can tell you that much.

well, if you start getting Carpal Tunnel, it hurts like hell and you'd probably want it to stop. I bet you'd read the manual too!

You can thank the lawyers for that one. If they didn't put it on there, someone could sue for getting carpel tunnel.
