The ring is the thing!! Whoever ends up with more super bowl rings will be considered the better quarterback. As far as the final career stats, Peyton Manning will by far have the better numbers.

Its no contest now or ever, Peyton Manning. Manning is far better than anyone else in the game today and Tom Brady is a good quarterback on a great team with a great coaching system. Brady on the Colts all these years would not be nearly as successful as Manning. And Manning on the Patriots would of won several Super Bowls with league leading stats to boot.

Peyton Manning. Lets acknowledge the fact that without Vinateiri, Brady only has one ring. If the Colts had a defense like the Patriots, any of the years that they won could easily have been a Colts superbowl title. I'm not trying to knock down Tom Brady, he's a great quarterback, but staticstically he just doesn't match up with Manning. Once Manning retires, he is going to own almost every major passing record in the NFL.

Tom Brady because you cant get more clutch than him. Peyton Manning will probably always have the better statistics but Brady will always have what counts the most and that is Super Bowl Rings.

I say Peyton Manning. The thing that I am the Colts fan is one thing, but Peyton was a superstar right after he got drafted. Tom Brady started as Drew Bledsoe's backup at the Patriots. I think everyone else did all the work for Tom when he won all the super bowls. Also, Tom's playcalling is not that good. Peyton knows when to throw deep but Tom just throws wherever he wants. (I guess) He is a good quarterback, but Peyton is better.

This question is somewhat unfair to ask.....because when it comes down to it everyone would probably say Peyton Manning would be the better quarterback just because he has way more exposure as far as the media and advertising. If you arent a hardcore football fan you probably wouldnt even know who Tom Brady is in 20 years but you would know Peyton Manning because you would say...."He was that guy in that commercial with the wig and a mustache." When Peyton Manning finally won a superbowl....they were stacked with talented players and the players on offense have been together for years, but when Tom Brady won his first superbowl...everyone was asking "Who in the hell are the Patriots?".....Not to take away from Peyton Manning because i think that he is a GREAT quarterback but Tom Brady had done it with far less talent....Yes Peyton breaks records almost every year but Tom Brady does the one thing thats most important....Win games no matter what he has...I mean he lost his 2 starters from last year due to a trade and free agency (David Givens , Dieon Branch) and still won games with recievers such as Reche Caldwell???.....Doug Gabriel???....Jabar Gaffney???.....Yea i dont see Tom Brady putting up 49 touchdowns with this cast but he can win 12 regular season games and make to the AFC Championship game and only loose by one possession....Who will be considered better:Peyton Manning....Who is better: Tom Brady.

Peyton will be considered the best. Sportscasters have been saying all Peyton needed was a ring to be considered the best and he has that now. Granted Brady has more rings at the moment he does not have the stat lines like Peyton. Plus Peyton won his ring with out a good defense backing him up, where Brady had a great D helping him out with his 3 rings.

In twenty years, Peyton Manning will be regarded as the greatest QB to ever play the game. He's currently shatering every record set by any QB and he's still got quite a few years left of his career. Tom Brady is nowhere near as good of a QB. I've always said he's only as good as the rest of his team. The guy won three Super Bowls by a total of 13 points which means if it wasn't for his kicker he would have lost two.

That is a hard question because manning could be a result of a good system and killer wide outs. Brady could also be the same. Granted he has not thrown to guys the caliber of Harrison but he has had some decent guys on the other side of his passes. But I think Manning's stats will ultimately give him the edge.

Tom Brady will have the record for Super Bowls...at least 5...the ones that posted he will retire with 3, and Manning will be with one more ring are full of crap...or don't know much about the NFL...Brady already has 3 rings...Manning has 1...and Brady has another 10 years to go...and Manning probably has another 2 or 3 at the most...We'll see who is regarded more as the better QB...and it will be Brady...
