When there was a huge decision to be made in your life, and you knew what you should be doing but you weren't sure you had the courage to do what is right, how did you come up with the courage to make the right move?

I've come across this very thing many times. Important decisions involve both emotional and rational aspects. Consider what would happen in each of your prospective scenarios, should you do this or that. Think about how you'd feel in each case.

Doing the right thing can be very hard, but it is also very hard to live with yourself knowing you did the wrong thing, or were too chickens**t to do what was right. I think that uncomfortable situations are temporary, but your self-respect stays with you all your life.

The situations that spur us to make a change, such as a dysfunctional relationship, boredom, desire, or lack of fullfillment, are unstable situations and it's not a question of IF you're going to make a change, but WHEN. Very few dysfunctional situations last very long. It's better to change while you're still rational enough to control the outcome, rather than let the problem build up until it explodes.

You have my most sincere best wishes for happiness. Believe in yourself, you can overcome anything.

I thought about the peace in my life that would be the result of making the decision. Sometimes when we are in bad situations there is alot of confusion, and making a choice to leave the confusion behind brings peace.

I realized that I deserved better. And I could sit and wish that my life was different or I could take a deep breath and make the changes myself
