you will need 155 gallons of gas. At 2.15 per gallon, you're looking at $247.25.

The answers above are correct with 115 gallons of gas will be used. Remember once you compare the ticket price with the price of gas to factor in your time. The time it takes to drive 2300 miles vs flying 2300 miles might be worth the extra money (depending on the price). Just some food for thought.

Number of gallons = distance / miles per gallon. I will assume you car can do 30mpg. = 2300/30= 76.66 gallons, but you must add some extra in case you go down the wrong route or get stuck in traffic or if you have an emergency. I would say that 80 gallons should be enough. This will cost you 80*2.15= $172. I would get some extra for any unplanned emergencies.

You'll have to fill her up 7.7 times, round it to 8 (2300 / 300). Depending on the cost of the gallon, for example, if it's $2.50 a gallon, and your tank takes 10 gallons, 2.50 x 10 = $25, and $25 x 8 = $200. Adjust the price of the gallon and the capacity of your tank, and you'll get an approximate figure. Then you can compare it to the cost of a roundtrip ticket.

2300 divided by 20 = 115 gallons. Multiply 115 times the price of gas.
