do not disturb is right; it's about the producers, not the filming location, and it's true a lot of Italian western movies has been shooted in Spain, usually with an Italian director, an Italian/Spanish cast and often one or more American major star. But not necessarily: some Italian actors became popular enough to star in the primary role (Giulaino Gemma, Franco Nero, Bud Spencer & Terence Hill)

So called originally because they were financed by Italian studios. Most of them were actually filmed in Spain.
