i want to know some ways to get my music out there and also what are some software downloads that let me make rap beats

You could go old school and sell your CD out of the back of your car like Hammer did

u need to sell ur self before u can reap the benefits. try making some music and putting it on the internet so people can hear it(only about 2 or 3 songs) then do duets(anybody and everybody) so people can hear you more .while doing that make a cd so you can sell on road. try going to different areas so your music is all over.try make at least 1,500 copies and try sell 1,000 (sell it 4 cheap too) then people will eventually hear about you and record producers and agents will hear about you.
example: hip hop star papoose ( on joe's new song) he's jus breaking out to mainsteam but he has been doing it on the streets 4 some time now.
i dont know about any software you can download but try to get fruitloops or go to amazon were you can find muscial software 4 cheap.
