I wouldn't worry about it unless your doctor is, if she thinks your losing too much she will mention it at your appointment.....I had the complete opposite problem, my doctor told me i need to stop gaining so much weight. But its pretty normal to lose some weight in the beginning of your pregnancy, dont worry it will all catch up to you. And your probably not eating as much because you losing room in there for you stomach to expand, so its making you feel full faster.

My situation is somewhat similar - except I'm not really losing weight.
I never lost my "baby fat" after either of my first 2 pregnancies until I put myself on a healthy diet - when my youngest was 2 years old. By then I'd gained even more. I lost well over 100lbs over time and was able to eat even more then before and still was losing weight. My metabolism changed drastically but eventually stabilized. That was also when I started TTC - 3 years ago.
Now that I'm finally pregnant everyone who knows me well thinks it's kinda funny... I eat quite a bit less now then I ever have - I haven't eaten this little since I was a young girl.
However the doctors aren't concerned, since I am still gaining at a decent pace.
If you drink plenty of water that could also be why you're filling up much quicker. Water fills you up.
If you're truly concerned talk to your doctor/midwife and see what they think. Many women lose weight in the beginning - even if they don't have horrible sickness.

Well the body goes through many changes during pregnancy. Alot of foods I used to love I hated while being pregnant. I would also like one food one day and hate it the next. Plus baby is taking up more space so less food may get you full faster. But as long as you're eating I don't see the problem. But if you are concerned you should definately contact your doctor.

u have to remember the baby is probably laying & pushing down on ur organs stomach, bowels etc-so u will probably feel fuller faster & @ times may get constipated. I lost 30 something pounds with both my pregancy & still had 7-1 & 7-2 lb babies. If your concerned talk to ur doctor, everyones body is different. U should b due for an ultrasound again soon. If ur worried schedule another appt. before ur next visit. Rather b safe than sorry. :) good luck congrads B safe xoDonna

Because your organs are being shifted inside your body in order to make room for your growing baby, your stomach gets full a lot faster. I'm 25 weeks and experiencing the same thing. It resulted in a 2 lb weightloss, but my doctor wasn't overly concerned. He suggested that I eat smaller meals and snack throughout the day. However, I also found out that I'm anemic, so please make sure that there is no other underlying problem that could be contributing to this. Express your concerns to your doctor!

Start eating more smaller meals. You need the nutrition, and my doctor was so worried because I too was losing instead of gaining. I was into the beginning of my 4th month, and my weight had dropped to 95lbs. I had lost 10 lbs. So he had me to start eating smaller meals 5 times a day. It helped me to start gaining, and I had a healthy baby girl.

As long as the baby is still growing, and you're still eating, you will be fine.
My mom had a digestive issue while pregnant with my youngest brother, she literally lost 60 pounds over her 9 months. My brother was nearly 9 pounds and healthy as a horse.
Your body WILL provide what that child needs, it just wont leave any for itself. Be sure to take your prenatal, and what little you do eat, make it count.

As long as you're healthy your baby will get all of her nutrients from your body. Not from what you eat. You'll be fine. Remember your not eating for two, that's a myth. Just eat like you normally do. If you're hungry eat. If not, don't.
Your weight doesn't really matter at this point anyway. You're still a little early.

Talk to your doctor. Some people don't gain much if any at the beginning. If he/she says you're healthy, I wouldn't worry.

A lot depends on your initial weight, but you might want to talk to your doctor and confirm all is well.
