Have tried the F7 trick, it does not work. Is the any solutions to this problem.

Unless Gateway deemed the unit "Vista Capable" ... you have no recourse whatsoever other that to go back to XP like many many other people.

All you'll be missing is the money you paid for Vista & all the incompatabilities & third party copyright protections & general headaches that come with it.

Sounds like the latest BIOS isn’t Vista-ready.

Try this link and download or redownload all the vista drivers. They came out with new vista drivers just this month, at least they did for my pc.
