It depends on what you enjoy. London is a great city to live in if you want a busy lifestyle. I would opt for the flat but that's for now. As I get older I would want to retire to the country

I would prefere the country living, over the flat in London, I like the peacefullness. As far as the benefits of city living, you have the high taxes for one thing, lots more noise. But if you like that an being nearer to shopping areas, than that counts for something too. I really don't know anything about London though.

Definitely not - just moved from the city to the country and there's no way I'd go back of my own free will.

Life in the country is much more pleasant - the air is infinitely cleaner, it's much safer (almost no crime at all - probably about one thousandth the crime rate in London). The people are so much more friendly, it's much quieter.

There are a few minor inconveniences - you can't just nip to the shops at 9pm, you have to travel further to clubs, restaurants and the like, there's less public transport etc. All in all these are minor onconveneices compared to the huge advantages to not living in London (and the cost of course).

I would prefer the flat in London, but when i get a little older, the country house would be preferable. Center city living is fantastic because everything is at your fingertips

No. I would sooner gnaw my own leg off. I hate cities.
