converting youtube vids to dvd playable?

i downloaded sum youtube vids.i got vlc media player to play it.i try to convert to dvd playable but either no sound or no vid.what should be the vid and audio format and the encapsulation result?juz wanna burn the vids i downloaded.help puhleez

I use this software to convert the FLV files from YouTube to DVD.
Works perfectly every time.

use total vedio converter . it sis the best stuff to change .flv to dvd
