I love America Where I have the more freedom than any other country. I love and admire many other countries too. But I am from the USA and I am proud of it!!! Just as you should be proud of what country you are from. I am sick of people out there who say "Typical American" First of all You don't know me, secondly there is no such thing as a typical American, Americans come from every country in the world that there is. So just because you don't like my opinion, don't steriotype me into your box. Thirdly, I have lived all over the world, so I have pretty good understanding of the rest of the world. My husband and my son are bilingual, and many of my other relatives, who have also lived in many other counties. And fourth if people from other countries have something against Americans, why are they trying so hard to come to our country. Fifth the USA gives more aid than any other country and no matter what country you are from, I bet our country has given your country aid.

I love America too, and would not want to live anywhere else.
But the idea that we have "more freedom than any other country" is not so true.
We have as much freedom and the same freedoms as many other countries, but not more than. Canada is equal, Britain is equal. Many others are.
There are other great places in the world to live that have freedom and democracy. America is not the only free nation.

America is, and has been for a decade or so, quite a bit more repressive than many Western European countries (Patriot Act etc). Scores high in UN corruption league.
People do flock to America in huge numbers, but Ireland has proportionately the highest immigration of any country in the world.
The USA gives proportionately less aid than most of western Europe.
American people are relatively poor compared to the Swiss, Irish, Luxembourg, Sweden, the Netherlands and a few more.
America has very high illiteracy, poor education and health, HUGE crime rates... compared to Western Europe.

I'm American and proud of it! I've been to many other countries and wouldn't trade America for any of them.

Please try to understand that there are so many persons that hate everything!
There are great things in USA...but there are a lot of bad also. We all have our good/bad parts; we have to pray and try to be real human beings wherever we are. Take good care.
I love all the human beings, that includes those living in America.
