She doesn't have "just an average, but good" kind of voice, which she proved on AI, she takes time to meet her fans wherever she is (concerts, events, red carpet, public), she is considerate to other stars and never says anything bad about them, shes just an average person and not a diva, people can relate to her songs and they aren't trashy, they're about very personal parts of her life, she has natural beauty, no plastic surgerys, she's so incredibly funny it's not even FUNNY! Kelly Clarkson SEEMS to be singing from the heart. She also, due to American idol, proved that she can sing. Too many artists are good looks with mediocre voices.
I have actually found myself listening to her music when it comes ont he radion and do not complain when 1 of her CDs are put in the radio when my faince is driving.

her songs are taken from real life situations so therefore it makes them more appealing to the ears...i love them too!!!
