The Maple tree in my yard has been unattended to by the last owner. Is there a way to revive it. It has many dead limbs in it. It is about 40 feet tall.

A 40 foot maple is pretty old, and they don't live for real long. Maples like cooler temps than what we have in the south, but you can't do anything about that.

Trim out the dead stuff and just fertilize with a good, complete fertilizer, like "Plant-Tone". Do NOT use Weed and Feed type fertilizers.....the "weed" part will actually kill shrubs and trees.
