Yes! Mesoptamia is widely believed to the cradle of civilization and encompasses present day Iraq/Iran/Syria/Turkey.....we owe alot to the Mesopatmians e.g. codified legal system (think Hammurabbi's code of laws), written script, metalworking (they were the first people of the Bronze age)

You are making the same mistake as many people do by lumping all countries that contain a Muslim element together. You do not seem to realise that just as in the Christian religion there are many 'flavours' or factions to the 'Muslim' religion. There are many moderate factions for instance the Mevlevi Sufi which you have probably never heard of. Of course, there are extremist elements in the Muslim faith just as there are Christian Fundamentalists and there are extreme _people_ in the Muslim faith just as tthere are in the Christian faith. And there are people in both religions that tend to be 'easily led'. The Muslim religion is full of different factions that struggle against each other - just as in the Christian religion. What you are suggesting is similar to saying that the USA and France (both predominately Christian countries but with different outlooks on the world) would 'rise up' and attack Greece. Leaving all the above aside - you can't wait for a war to break out - bit of a strange sentiment isn't it are you some sort of war-monger? Don't get me wrong - I'm no conscence objector but I find it weird that you're waiting (and wanting) a war to break out. Are you looking to sign up or something? Edit: Why do you try to deliberately misquote me? I didn't bet anything did I? You seem to be unwilling to justify your comments - why would it take you 2 years - if you're so sure of your case you should be able to state it or is your sole aim to attempt to misquote and try (unsuccessfully) to insult people that question your original premise? Surely you can substantiate what you claim or at least have a try at it and base it on some facts or are you just tunnel-visioned and charged with invective? Why do you actively desire war and look forward to it?

The oldest that we know of was in the "fertile crescent" where Iraq is today.

It was probably the first place where we had organized agriculture. It's always possible that some small villages in completely different places "invented" agriculture long before that, but this is the earliest evidence of large-scale "civilization".
