Bin Laden had or still has a large personal fortune and recieves a lot of funds from Saudis to this day. He had connections to the CIA and fought a proxy war against the Soviets, he is not a newcomer or amateur just hunkered down in a cave. It is very possible that Bin Laden is not even the top leader of al-Qaeda, only the most visible one. He has been described in the past as a lieutenant.

I think it's a bit more complicated than saying the 9/11 attacks were orchestrated by a man in a cave. The attacks were well-planned and the suicide squad had spent many months configuring a plan, even boarding planes to see what the best way to strike would be. Let's not forget that at the time the FAA, State Department and CIA were really not speaking well on matters of potential threatening individuals, which may explain how some of them boarded planes despite suspicion by their home countries. As for Bin Laden, he is a millionaire many times over who has the broad support of many in the Arab and greater Islamic world. For me, it's not hard to believe that the 9/11 official story could be on par with the events that transpired. Either way, it shouldn't have been used as justification to invade Iraq. That will unfortunately be the legacy of this White House.

I only wish that we had gone after this man instead of invading a country that was in no way responsible for the 9/11 attacks. By the way, 5 YEARS have already passed since the attacks, and bin Laden is STILL free. And what's worse is the fact that he and other chief al-Qaeda leaders have begun strengthening some cells of the organization and have been setting up new training camps in Pakistan.

1. He wasn't living in a cave at that time. He was established quite publicly in Afghanistan, despite the 2 or 3 cruise missiles Clinton lobbed at empty tents as a show of Democrat strength and resolve against terrorism. He didn't live in a cave until Bush went after him in Afghanistan.
2. He's had a huge organization, which grew after each successful attack against the US, especially all the attacks that went unanswered by Clinton. This organization had leaders and cells in many many countries, with the help of other terrorist organizations, as well as support from people like the Taliban, Saddam, etc.
3. There was no breach of military security. They didn't even have to really breach airline security. Pre-9/11, passenger screening was haphazard - heck, I used to carry a folding 5" hunting knife on me when I traveled on planes. It always passed thru security.
So, you're 0-for-3, and you think people should listen to you? LOL!

They didn't really have to breach military security. They only had to breach the pre-9/11 TSA security.
They had studied and done test runs.
There were others involved than just bin Ladin and the 19 hijackers.
Oh, and the people who blame Bush, the Jews, Clinton, or anybody other than Islamic extremists for 9/11 are the ones spewing conspiracy theories.
Cheers, mate.

Bin Laden led his army to victory against the commies in Afghanistan - he was no fool in a cave. When he took his army and wanted to stop Iraq from invading its neighbors, they chose the US military instead. That made him pretty upset. Now the US is fighting him, in Iraq no less~ what a soap opera
as the world turns............and these are the days of our lives......................

i replaced into in school, too. I had merely walked into my second era social study type (seventh grade), and that i talked about a video on the television of the first progression crumbling to the floor. I actual did not imagine it replaced right into a huge deal. before everything i presumed that it replaced right into a progression being demolished on purpose. Then at the same time as i realized that it wasn't a planned ingredient, i began to take it somewhat extra heavily. yet i don't think of I were given the completed outcome until eventually i replaced into in my third era math type and talked about videos of thousands of bloody human beings rising from the dirt and rubble. Thats at the same time as it fairly sank in for me that there have been human beings in there being overwhelmed to lack of existence and burned to lack of existence. It replaced into an quite very scary concept. i replaced into residing in Iowa on the time, and they did not allow instructions out early at my college. truly, after third era they ordered that the televisions stay off until eventually the suited of the day. They exceeded out some card we were meant to furnish to our mum and dad that gave pointers on how mum and dad might want to communicate with their youngsters about the tragedy, and also what to do in the experience that they knew someone who replaced into contained in the WTC homes at the same time as they fell.
