Imagine this, you and your loved one have a credit card, you get in the monthly statement and check it over for discrepancies, besides, it's kind of interesting to see what you're really spending your money on. You come across a line that reads "Adult Video Megaplexx $68.14," hmmmmm, YOU didn't go there, so that means he did. Okay, no big deal, you ask him about it and his reply is this:

"I went by there to buy you some lingerie for your birthday," (believable since my birthday is on Saturday, even though he went in January and men don't think that far ahead, but okay, you give him the benefit of the doubt, UNTIL you hear this...) "but I think I THREW IT AWAY!!!" HUH????!!!?!?! Big red flag, he wants you believe he bought lingerie and then threw it away. Does anyone else see a problem with this story line?

I don't understand this, I'm 26 weeks pregnant, why would he buy it in the first place? He's never bought me anything like that. Any suggestions?

I can tell he's lying out his.....anyhow, he did the whole getting mad thing (typical first reaction) and now he's doing the whole "I love you and only you, there's nobody else, how can I prove that" thing. I just don't know what to do. He's cheated before and we worked through it, at least I thought we had, but when he has nothing to show for a credit card charge to an adult video store, what am I supposed to think? I mean honestly, he threw it away?!! B/S!!

Maybe he's really telling you the truth.

But then again, what man spends $68.14 on lingerie? Truth be told, he probably bought porn and is hiding it from you.

I wore lingerie the whole time I was pregnant. I bought the stretchy kind. My husband never buys it for me because he's afraid he'll get the wrong size or I won't like it. If I ever see that on MY statement, and I didn't buy it and don't have anything new, there'll be a cast iron skillet upside his head when he gets home from work!

If you want to give him the benefit, ask to watch the porn with him. If he still can not produce anything...He probably has bought for someone else. However it works out....keep an open mind. If he pulls out a mens sex toy, be nice. After all he could be cheating on you instead.

Good Luck

Oops, sprung him maybe? I think he might of just bought some porn or something and didnt think he would get found out. I know when I was pregnant we didnt "do it" as much as usual so maybe he was getting a bit frustrated and found a solution to the problem without bothering you about it. Its an ageold ritual isnt it, guys and porn? Dont worry too much about it.

You already answered your own question. He's lying I figure it like this. If he cheated once, his mistake; he cheats on you twice that's your mistake. I know it's hard to imagine leaving the father of your child but you don't want that baby around if you are going to argueing about him cheating on you constantly, the trust is gone and you don't want that child thinking it's ok to walk over women or be walked on. Kick his @ss to the curb and move on, life's too short to be wasting your time on losers.

ok..... that "threw it away thing" is total BS. You need to lay down the law!!! Its bad enough that he did it.... but now he is lying about it..... there is no excuse to lie!!! Tell him to be a man and own up to what he did! Futhermore, tell him that sort of behavior will not be tollerated!!!
Put your foot down and tell him you arent paying for his perverted extra cirrcular activities!

it was definitly a cover up, that is ridiculous, you have every right to be upset, but try not to stress over it too much it isnt good for the baby.
i'm sorry about that, i hope it all works out.
