I've had a small problem once before but it went away on its own. well this time it started hurting in the morning when i peed and by around 12 o clock, i started to bleed. at first i was like, there's no way im having my period this early but then i realized it was coming out when I peed. It looks sort of pale-ish red, like when first start your period but it has clot like pieces that are darker red. I have never really heard anything about bleeding being associated with UTI's but I guess it's possible. Anyone know for sure? Also, what are the chances it will go away on it's own again?

Also, I heard that UTI's are either caused by Chlamydia, which I know I dont' have, or E Coli!? How would I have E Coli and not feel sick or know at all?

Don't know for sure - the doctor would probably do a dipstick test and send the urine to the lab for culture to grow bacteria.

When I had a urine infection I drank plenty of water and took pain killers. 2 weeks later, it was still there!

Go get checked out. If you leave it, it MIGHT become a kidney infection, but more to the point it won't go away real well unless you get some antibiotics.

It probably did not completely go away on its own. You need to go get a urinalysis test at your doctors office. This will tell. Blood does show up in urine when you have a UTI. You need the correct medication to clear this up once and for all.

Go to the doctor, asap. If it's a UTI, sometimes cranberry pills help, but let the doctor check to make sure it's not something serious. It will ease your mind to know for sure.

No you need to see a doc and get your urine tested. Left untreated a UTI can spread to your kidneys or to your blood stream and cause nasty problems. See a doc and get this checked.
