As the previous poster said, kiddicare are good, and cheap, but, if you want a real bargain, on a new pram, try the kiddicare stand at the baby Show, they have 3 or four a year in various locations, check the www for details, but we got ours from kiddicare at the show and saved about £100 on even their internet prices - so well worth the entrance price! (You get loads of other freebies too)

Once you have decided which pram you want, the internet is usually cheaper than shops.
Also ebay is excellent. I would consider getting a used pram, after all once you've been out a few times yours will be used. We just brought a prarm on ebay for a fraction of the price as it was a shop demo. I don;t think baby wil notice to be honest and there are better ways to spend money!

If you want to buy one soon, beware of going to shops such as Mothercare and Toys R Us at busy times.
This is because there is a certain unwritten rule that the bigger the bump, the more prority you get. So if you go shopping now, you'll never get near the prams at the weekend because there will be loads more women who are more pregnant that you taking up all the space!!
I did that and just ended up going home because my bump wasn't big enough!! Lol! I went during the week when it's quieter!!

Hi, I would definitely advise to buy online as it is so much cheaper. It's worth looking round the shops and trying the store models out to see which you prefer, but then have a look online to compare prices. Try kiddicare.com , glasgowpramcentre.co.uk , pramworld.co.uk . I've bought from all these companies - they're fast, reliable and their customer service is really good.

stay sitting where you are...too cold for walking for hours...easiest option do the legwork on the computer and then if you see some you like find the supplier and then go and road test them. I always found it best to check them out first rather than just buy one as they all handle differently to each other and the choice is out of this world...Happy hunting.I'm well pleased with my mama's and papa's travel system I bought for my first child and I'm now using it for my second and still in excellent condition.

I found Mothercare (UK) to be the best place. Getting one on the net is all well and good until something happens to it like a wheel falls off then you have the hassel of having to post it off somewhere. with Mothercare you can insure your pushchair and they repair it for you. Much less stress and plus, they have all the main makes of pushchairs around.
