Definitely....you guys will change.....either you become better persons or the $ 10M will bring out the worst in you guys.
If its the latter...at least you both suffer in comfort !!

That's a good question. Money changes people, but when given to the right people, it can change peoples lives! With ten million dollars, my husband and I wouldn't have any problem buying that bigger house we're looking for and that SVU we want (not to mean the insurance on them).
Our kids would be able to go the college of their choosing.
My mom and grandparents would get a good car and home.
Our church would be able to get ALL the repairs it needs or even build a new building for them.
Then there's all the kids and people we loved to help that just break our hearts that we can't do anything.
I would hope that with $10 Million, we'd stay grounded and use it to change lives of the less fortuante (and, of course, live comfortably).

I think the most annoying thing would be the people hounding me for donations. That could put a lot of stress onto someone. I would give to charities that I believe in. But as far as my relationship with my husband, I don't think it would change at all. I think he would still work, he just wouldn't have to work so much overtime. We could buy our dream home, have new cars and put money away for our kids. Many couples fight over money, we don't fight, but there are times when we get stressed as to what and when bills will get paid. But we would definately move to the country where we could have two horses for our girls. I think we would live comfortably, not like rock stars. What do you do when all that money is gone? I would give some money to family members. My sister could go to college and not worry about financial aid. I could get my parents out of debt, so my Dad could retire. And we would take our entire family to Hawaii for a week. Ahhh, to dream.

Well, for one, I would retire.
But, for the most part, I would be the same person I am now. It wouldn't change the things I like to do, just give me more time to do them. Sure, I would get some of those "toys" that I dream about now(i.e. motorhome, boat, scuba equipment, etc.). But the person I am would not change at all.
It would give me the chance to not work, and spend more time with my children doing those fun things we would like to do.
The only complication I would foresee it all the "family & friends" that you hear of coming out of the woodworks now that you have the money.
Other than that, I would just have one less thing to worry about in life. But, I would still be person I am now. But, I don't doubt there are people out there that it would change a lot.

Ten million big ones....WOW! It wouldn't change the person I am but, it would change alot of what I would be able to do.
I'd take my family on a great holiday, pay off bills, pay for the back operation my guy needs and then we'd all go home and live in a cute little house by the sea.
I'd feel secure financially for the rest of my life and that would be a great feeling.

I don't think I would have to many complications with that kind of money. It wouldn't change my relationship with my b/f. We sort have played the game of what we would do. I don't think it would change anything between us.
I think some old friends would come out of the woodwork, but we don't need them now or then. We have one set of friends I would help them finish their home and take on a trip.
We would help all our children get on their feet, and send my son in law to England to be with his dad who has cancer. Get full time care givers for our mothers (who are both ill), and take them on a balloon ride. We would buy a C/O resort some where warm and work on it.

I would pay off our house and buy a new vehicle, go on a trip and then save the money or invest it, but I wouldn't go all crazy and go on a spending spree like some people do. My husband and I woiuld feel the same way we do about each other right now, I couldn't see it changing anything.

Are you offering? I think it may cause some problems, but make other things better. My husband is disabled, and we could build a new house all on one floor and get him a good wheelchair, and a hospital bed so he could actually sleep. I could help my in college daughter pay off her student loans, and pay the balance of her tuition, I could help my married daughter and put some money for college in the bank for her children-my grandchildren, and I could help family members who are not employed right now. I could pay off the loan for my engine, and look for another car. I would, however, keep on working, because I love my job, and I'm good at it.

Well, I would immediately split it with my husband. He can do whatever in the world he wants with his half, even if it's lighting it on fire... but do NOT come to me for more. I have specific plans for any windfall I might (but probably won't) come into.
Sure, it could affect relationships, but I hope the relationships with people that I care most about would stay the same.

If you look at statistics money does more damage than good.Very few people can handle money properly. If we could we would all have it.Ten million is enough to ruin your life.Every relationship you have would change and not for the good.

I've said this before...
Money doesn't change people, it just AMPLIFIES what's already in the person.
No, would not affect us. Too down to earth for that to happen.
Wouldn't be any change on how we get along either.
What would change? Well...
I sure could get the house fixed up.
Help my kin out.
And I sure would like to get a new blade for my lawnmower.
