I am just looking for a webcam that my wife can use for her new computer with the new windows vista

if it was compatable w/ xp 2nd ed your fine.....

well that answer is not totally correct. If your stuff works for xp sp2 then yes it WILL be fine with vista. How ever with a new operating system there are no drivers for it as of yet so it will either not work or work very limited. I know that most of or a great number of logitechs equipment does not have vista drivers yet but they will have them very very soon so no worries.
If it says plug and play on it how ever, then there is no software and it should be ok for basic use with no custom changes to it.
But give it a few months and everything will equal it self out that is when i will be buying vista :)

This webcam will artwork through fact I even have 2 desktops and the two are vista and that they've have been given this webcam the image is stunning and clean audio. Microsoft LifeCam VX-one thousand CODE:- 676/9950
