could i be pregnant?

ok i just asked a Q and people so werent helpful lol...
I want to know...
1. if im on the contraceptive pill could i still be pregnant even though my 'fake' period has come?
2. will a pregnancy test work when im on the pill?

technically you could be pregnant if you had a "fake period" its called implantation bleeding..its not really a period..it is usually lighter than a normal period..and yes a pregnancy test will work when you are on the pill...Are you regular with your periods? Did that period come at a time that was on schedule??

If I were you I would go to the Planned Parenthood Center in your area and ask them to administer a pregnancy test. They are better equipped for testing and for answering questions. If you are pregnant and wish to keep the child then you should get off of the pill now. It is highly unlikely that you are pregnant if you are on the pill and you had your period. Good luck!

Yep, some women can get pregnant no matter what form of birth control they are on. If you are pregnant it should show up no matter if you are of the pill or not. It the test shows neg and you are still concerned, go to the DR and get tested. If you don't have a DR or insurance then find a crisis center or health unit. They will do the tests for little or no charge. I hope that helps. Also some women bleed the entire time they are pregnant. So don't listen to some people!!!!Everbody is unique and everytime you get pregnant may be different!!! So tell all the people that seem to be experts on your body, that they need to enroll in thier local meds school since they are SSSOOOOOO SMART!!!!

1) Highly unlikely. If you get pregnant while on the pill, your periods will stop, even though it's not a 'real period'
2) Yes. It will work just fine. Tests are picking up a hormone that is not in the pill and is only produced by your body when you are pregnant.

You can be pregnant while taking the pill, sometimes things dont always work as they should! I dont know if your 'period' would still come on but I do know that if you at all suspect pregnancy you should stop taking the pill and seek your GPs advice as taking the pill while pregnant can harm the baby. Whats a fake period? yes you can get pregnant while on the pill if you have not taken it properly of you have been sick as this will wash the pill out your system, yes a test will give you a proper reading even if your on the pill, i would go and get one, it will give you peace of mind, good luck

its not a fake period. if you on the pill. its real. you are not pregnant. yes a preg test would work.sometimes though its a false result, but you have started your period so you are not pregnant
