I was sure some one would have written the real tie that binds us but I did NOT see it during the first TEN.
So here it is :
The fact that we are our brother's keeper.

We are all looking for something more. We are not satisfied with life. We feel there's something missing inside of us.
However, for Christians, it's different. We are bonded together because we lack those desperate feelings. If we are truly walking with God, then we are complete and satisfied. We are a part of the family of God, and we have eternal life to look forward to after we die.
I've decided that I'd rather have the security and joy of a relationship with Christ than not know where my life is going and where it will end. And I'm glad I did, because if I didn't, I'd be going straight to hell.

Um...WHAT tie? Do you live in the same world that I do? The fact that we have the same genetic makeup and biological needs in no way ties us to all other humans. As resources deplete, either locally or globally, we compete and, if necessary, kill. This is an universal human (and biological) constant, but I wouldn't call it a tie.

I think its DEPENDENCE and FEAR.
Fear that if One will attack, the other will reply soon so better to co-operate.
DEPENDENCE is the main thing that binds all humans together.
Without dependence there would not be imports and exports. How could we live without any foreign items?
Its difficult to think about.

Efficiency.
Imagine baking every day your own bread, planting your own salad, your own trees to harvest fruits, milking your cow to make butter, etc..just to survive!
Of course all of this can be a lot of fun for some time but it will leave you no time for anything else, like reading, listening to music, studying etc.. if you have to do it all the time and alone!

Easy! DNA!
Beyond that, there isn't anything tangible. Some vague "feeling" of "universal bonding" is unprovable.

Not much to be honest.
There are some people in the world who would kill me on sight b/c of my religion, skin color, country of origin, etc... There are others who would "nothing" me, and others who would love to sit and chat with me.
