you didn't eat any of that peanut butter did you? honestly, it sounds like you've got a touch of a stomach flu or food poisoning. or maybe just hormones. if you're not violently ill, i wouldn't worry about it.

This is normal for some women. I used to have the same problem before periods and was running to the washroom with diareah. Its normal, not to worry. As far as sleeping, any medication or tylenol you take for the cramps will make you more sleepy plus, you are loosing blood, so that sometimes will make you sleepy as well. Take care Heather

During or before menstruation, your body releases a hormone that causes contaction of what is known as smooth muscle. Smooth muscle is all over your body and it is a muscle that you have no conscious control over. Some of the smooth muscles in your body are in the intestine and uterus. When these smooth muscles contract they can cause diarrhea and menstrual cramping. This is why you get diarrhea before or during your period.

That happens to me too!! I think Dr. Oz (from Oprah) said that it's because of hormone levels, and it's normal.
