ok,, im on the contraceptive pill but have been feeling sick for over a week..not really sik just a bit queezy. first thought was pregnant! Was due to have a period but took a test first day stopped pill. said i wasnt pregantn. came on my period 3 days later... thing is as im on the pill a period isnt actually a real one is it!
So... could i be pregnant on pill but still have period?
Also if i take a test now will it even be right coz on pill so not actually on a real cycle?arghhh help!

If you get pregnant when you are on the pill, you will not have a period. This is even though the period you get when on the pill is not a real period.
The reason you get a period when on the pill is because stopping taking it causes a drop in hormone levels. If you were pregnant, your hormone levels would be raised, and they would over-ride the drop. So no period would come.
Being on the pill will make no difference to the results of a pregnancy test either. So test again if you want to. Although I don't think that you are pregnant.
There are a lot of stomach bugs around this time of year. That might be why you felt sick. I had one just last week.

Yes, your period is real, even on the pill. If you are really concerned, stop taking your birth control and wait a few days, then try the test again. You might also want to consider another form of contraceptive like the ring. It is a lot more reliable--no chance of forgetting a pill or taking it at the right time. It eliminates a lot of the worries.

When I see a young pregnant lady i don't decide except i do know the circumstances. She might were raped. Or maybe if she wasnt she would were in love with a boyfriend of 5 years. We could say it used to be a liked boyfriend if they'd been together as a minimum a yr and a half and did what they did for the proper motives i see no reason to judge. They didnt do it on reason. There are billions of alternative teens doing the same things they simply dont happen to get pregnant. There are adults who have one night time stands all the time so why is that ok but a teen who simply so happens to get pregnant together with her bf of 4 months is not ok? I suppose what im looking to say is a pregnant teen shouldnt be judged unless you know all of the details.

The pill can mess you up. Especially if you've missed a pill or two. the best thing to do is to take another test in seven days. but the chances of you being on the pill, having a period and being pregnant all at the same time are small.

Far out i had to read that 3 times and still dont quite understand.
Firstly if you think you might be preg stop taking the pill and do a test, it can detect pregnancy as early as 2 weeks if its negative then you are not preg continue to take the pill, if its positive then yes you are pregnant.
If you have had a period after you had intercourse than its unlikely you are preg but not impossible.
You really should see your doctor

yes you can be pregnant and still have a period.
just being on the pill will not cause a positive HPT test.
if you want to be sure, go to the doctor and get a blood test.

yes it is possible to have a period and still be pregnant i suggest you give it a couple of days and do another test

If your nipples are darker than ususal like darker you know how they normally look that is the first indication you are pregnant due to the fact hormones race to breasts first!

Go to the doctor...or your local clinic and tell them you need to be tested. They should do it for free!
