Was he actually hounding you in an accusing way? Or was it more of a, "I'm a butt-head and you told me you're planning a surprise so I'm going to try to drive you crazy so you'll tell me about it early" kind of harassment? Telling a guy, I'm going to plan a surprise for you so I need the day to do it is kind of like telling a three year old that their Christmas presents are in the closet, but don't peek. However, if it was in an accusatory and angry way as though he thought you might be cheating on him then I would say bail out now. Someone who HAS to know where you are and who you are with every second of the day is very controlling. And while that kind of controlling doesn't always degenerate into physical abuse (though it often does), it does usually lead to mental abuses and cutting down your self esteem. Someone who is that overbearing and controlling really isn't worth your time and effort and you'd be better off cutting your losses and looking for someone better. If you're feeling like you are starting to dread major holidays because you're just waiting to see how he'll make you feel bad this year, that's another red flag that this relationship is going nowhere. While a little drama around major holidays isn't uncommon (after all, all that anticipation and build up can be stressful and stress can fray nerves and cloud judgment) it shouldn't be something that happens every time.

Seems like you forgot but no worries. Who says it has to be on Feb. 14? On the actual day, I borrowed the theater at my school and llured a frien under false pretenses. I told her that I wanted her to see the set of the HS drama. When she got onstage, I told her I had lied and asked her to dance. She said yes, the music and the spotlight went on. So we danced for a little while.Today, I plan to attend play practice. I hope you have a great day.
