For any emulator, the system must be much faster than the original machine. The N64 operated at 94 mhz, but you need at least a 1Ghz PC to play games for it. That's over 10 times the speed. The PS2 operates operates at 300 mhz, so you would probably need at least a 3 Ghz computer. And that is only when they have finished writing the emulator. It often takes years to produce a good emulator for a system.

I've never heard of pcsx2 but I am going to assume its one of those emulators that play PS2 games on PC, first of all Im going to say that all emulators are unreliable even if an expert programmer spends months making it just look at ports from console to console as an example the graphics always lose quality and the game always has more glitches even if its going to a more powerful console. If your that desperate to play Tekken either try one of the other Tekkens 4 or 5 or get a PS2 because fiddling with an emulator is not easy. I had a PS2 for about 5 years and it always played every game I put in ,very reliable and their pretty cheap now that xbox 360 is out and PS3 is just around the corner(it might even be out where you live).
