I am doing an I-Search paper for my English class and my original topic was paranormal. He told me to narrow it down. I have to do interviews and I want to be able to at least get 3. I already have one but I need 2 more and I need one of them to be an expert but I don't know who would be an expert. He recomended a minister or psychologist. I am not sure, should I change my topic to aliens or demons or something else from the paranormal. Please help!

look for someone in your area that claims to be a medium. they may be hard to find, depending on where you live.

Ghost busters.......lol......just kidding....yeah I think that she is right. No one is an expert on the paranormal.....Just pick people most all of us have experienced spiritual activity including the good and the bad, actually I read a very exciting theory the other day about the dimensions of life....This person stated that he believes and has some facts/evidence (limited, however) that there is 12 dimensions to the earth. He explained them all out, I unable to to remember them all. But is main idea of it all is that there is many different dimensions to this single dimension of ours. There's the spiritual, ours, and molecular, etc. And the main effects of some of the other ones affect us, therefore we have paranormal experiences. But I'm pretty sure that if you look you will find someone in your "backyard" who can help you out a lot. Good luck!!

I am a paranormal researcher and I can tell you that there is no such thing as an expert on ghosts. We all have our own theories and experiences but at this point in research that would be like looking for an expert on time travel. Why not try a paper on one aspect of paranormal research like electronic voice phenomenon. There are many researchers that have experience with that. Good luck on your paper.

Either of those choices would be good for your topic. Minister for the spiritual side of the ghost enigma and the psychologist for the possible mental side of them (if you know anything about your topic, poltergeists are thought to be mental projections of angsty teens...).

You're going to have just as much of an issue with your other two choices, by the way.

Contact a local ghost hunter society, they would be able to be one expert, but also recommend a couple of others.
