*He wants me to drive him to work (when he can easily walk there, he just gets lazy)
*He uses it to go to band practice twice a week in a bad neighborhood and then whines to his friends that I'm being a *****(I'm scared that my company equipment in the trunk will get stolen too!)
*he pays for gas *sometimes*
*he pays to get it fixed *sometimes*

He takes me and my car for granted, and brags that he doesn't need it, but when he gets lazy or needs something, he wants it. He'll say I'm being bitchy if I complain to him about it... This has been the boyfriend from hell. Help me!

Seriously, don't buy it. There is no reason you should, you don't owe him anything. In fact, it is the other way round, he owes you. So there really is no point. He hasn't helped with anything at all. Then why are you still being civil to him? I have a feeling that you will do perfectly well without him in your life, and your parents support you. So why is he still there? He is not helping with the baby, he is not helping with the bills, he is not helping with anything. Does he even care? If he doesn't, why should you? Make up your mind about this, and be firm. You do NOT have to buy that car. Moreover it is way overpriced.

Ok, I'm trying to look at this from your point of view, and your boyfriend's point of view. First of all he keeps using your car, and he takes you out on your car. Have you told him how you feel about this ordeal? The thing that matters here is if you are busy when he borrows the car. Are you busy when he wants you to drive him to work, when he goes to band practice? If the car is available, I don't see how it's a problem, unless you just don't want him to borrow it. If the car is free then let him borrow it. Like I said, talk to him, and set some ground rules for the car. You're not bitchy at all. Tell him that he needs to save up money in order to buy a car, so things can be easier on you. Talk to him about it and try not to go at each other's throat. Tell him that you need your car too, and he needs to stop saying he doesn't need a car, when he clearly keeps asking for your car. If he doesn't understand how you feel, then it will be up to you. Will you still be with him, or will you give him the boot.

You don't need help, you need a back bone. You have someone who is using you. He has bragged that he doesn't need your car and has disrespected you by calling you names. You need to stop being this guys doormat and start taking charge of your life. That is your car, he's not helping with insurance and maintence of the car. You need to get rid of that loser and find a real man who doesn't use you. Thank you and good luck.

Why, why, why do you CHOOSE to be in a relationship with a loser that uses you? You are a person of free will! Why are you volunteering for this? What is wrong with you?

Is this the kind of guy you would hope for for your daughter? Is this the kind of man you would want you son to grow up to be?

Are you so afraid of being alone that you would accept... this?

Obviously you have the right to be with who ever... or whatever you want. But when you pick a boy to be your companion, you don't have the right to complain that he is not a man.

You picked him.

My fiance and I shared my car for over a year because we just couldnt afford to buy a second vehicle. My fiance rode his motorcycle a lot and was very considerate of the fact that it was my car long before we met. He bought gas and fixed my car anytime something went wrong. It sounds like your boyfriend is very ungrateful. Why are you with him?

If he doesn't have enough money for it, then I guess he may just mean that it's not a valid option for him.

But about saying things about you behind your back... and saying that you're bitchy... you need to tell him right out that he needs to stop.

And as for the car, tell him to walk to work. One day, pretend you've lost your keys. See what he does, and then if he walks, point out that he can do it, and *should* do it.

Dump this loser!!! He is just using you as a chauffeur. Find a real man that doesn't have to rely on his woman to drive him everywhere like a little boy!

If he is "the boyfriend from hell" then it is time to tell him to "go to hell" and then go find a new boyfriend. Life is too short to have to put up with a bunch of crap.

Maybe his problem is, is that he hasn't truly, truly seen bitchy yet. Perhaps you should show the boy. Maybe his attitude will change if you enlighten him a little.
