I mean how do you get saved FROM death

Another Sim ( a controllable one) can plead for the Sims life then he must beat death in a guessing game if the Sim wins then the other Sims life is spared.

In the PlayStation 2 version, you can bribe or challenge Death (the Grim Reaper) to change your status from death to alive.
