Well I always prefer to have two night stands, but if you are looking for just one, try a tag sale. People are always selling odd pieces of furniture at them.
So, do you live alone? I mean you only need one night stand, so I assume you live alone, without someone who loves you. Otherwise you would want two, one for each side of the bed, right?
