1. Always a straight flush...you have less odds of a straight flush than four-of-a-kind, therefore a straight flush wins. Don't confuse a flush with a straight flush. Four-of-a-kind beats a flush, however a straight flush beats four-of-a-kind.

2. With three people in a game, only two people post blinds. In a $2/$4 game, a person sitting to the left of the dealer will post a small blind ($2) and the person sitting to the left of the small blind will post the big blind ($4). The dealer is then first to act, he can call by throwing $4 in the pot, raise or fold. He has the OPTION of playing and is not forced to play.

3. If the game is $1/$2, meaning a small blind is $1 and the big blind is $2, then by putting in $4 you're making a raise or betting an additional $2 over the big blind. In effect you're not changing the blind, you're just making a bet or a raise.

If the game is $2/4 and you're the dealer you can just put in $4 and if no one raises you will see the flop (first three cards). If you're in the small blind, you will only owe $2 to see the flop and if you're the big blind you can just check without putting more money in because you're already in for $4.

Hope that helps.

A straight flush is always higher than four of a kind.

Put your card stack in the middle of the table and each person takes a turn in turning over the cards on the flop and reading the hands. It slows the game but it can be done.

You can raise the blind when it is your turn or re-raise the blind.
If you raise a $2 blind it now becomes $4. The first person after the dealer button is the small blind and then comes the big blind. The next person to act calls the big blind and so on. Then it is the small blinds choice to call the size of the blind or the raise. The dealer button continues to move clockwise around the table. You must always bet in rotation. No talking about your hand or cards or blinds. You can check (no bet) as long as there is no money bet yet. The next person can check or bet. Never throw away cards when the person in front of you just checks. You get to see free cards this way. You only have to bet or fold when there is action behind you.

This game is funner with at least five persons plus a dealer. If you always have three play STUD. Stud is a fun game and you dont have a flop. Go on any net poker site to learn stud. Stud
used to be the most popular game before TV introduced Hold em to the world. Some Casinos still offer stud and even high limit where the pots get huge ($20-$40 stud).

I have played poker as a serious player for 30 years even tournements and love the game. Stud is my passion but I play lots of Hold em too. Now Horse is popular at the casinos. I play at many Casinos all over Nevada and even at New Jersey, Bicycle Casino in California and more.

Your Poker can turn into Passion for you too.

A Straight Flush is higher, the only hand that beats a Straight Flush is a Royal Flush (A,K,Q,J,10 in the same suit).
You can play with three people but the deal needs to rotate among the players after each hand.
If the small blind is $2 then the big blind is $4, small blind being immediately to the dealer's left and big blind following the small blind. Should you want to stay in the hand then you will have to match the big blind ($4) to continue.

1) A high straight flush always beats four of a kind, it is because of the odds of getting a straight flush are higher than getting four of a kind.

2)Before you start everyone cuts the pack to see who deals first (highest card goes first to deal), they are given a dealer button this is passed around clockwise so that everyone gets a chance to deal. If you are playing with two decks of cards then the dealer deals with one deck while the small blind shuffles the other deck so there is always a deck to play with

3)With out changing the blind when it comes to your go then you rise 4$ (this is calling 2$ which is the blind and rising 2$), if on your go you did not want to raise but still wanted to stop in the game then you would call (this is putting 2$ in), if you where the big blind and no one had raised when it becomes your got you can check (meaning you don't want bet of fold just see the cards)

Straight flush beats 4 of a kind
You only need a minimum of 2 players (Alternating delaer) to play Hold 'em and if $2 is the small blind and $4 the big blind it is possible to raise the $4 - initially to $6 and then it can be raised again for the final time in round one of play to $8

1. Straight flush beats 4 of a kind
2. Pass the deal (let the button deal) if usind 2 decks, have the small blind shuffle the other deck.
3. If you put in $4 that would be a $2 raise. If you are big blind and nobody raises, you can choose to check or raise.
