They look great but why do they have this negative reputation?

That is a huge generalization and not true of alot of us. Beautiful women of any nationality have the possibility of being spoiled and selfish. Why? Because they are beautiful. But not all American women are rotten like that.

Well, I believe it has a lot to do with the American Culture. America is one of the few countries where women are generally considered equals to men.
For most of the world, men dominate the culture, and women are a lot more subservient to men. Men are still the "head of the house" in a literal way.
I lived in Japan for two years. And while they are a very modern nation, their culture still has the women subservient to the husband. His comforts and needs come before the wifes.
I travelled to the Middle East in the military, and their culture really follows this belief as well. In many of the countries over there, you wouldn't even talk to a woman at all. You would talk to her through her husband.
Let's say I am in Houston, walking downtown, and am lost. If there was a woman walking by, I could stop her and ask if she knew where (insert address) was located. No big deal. In some countries, that would be very disrespectful to talk to another man's wife.
So, American women, all races, are a lot more liberated than most of the women of the world. That, a lot of the time, translates to being spoiled. It doesn't mean that they are spoiled. It just means they enjoy a lot more freedom than their counterparts in the rest of the world.

This is the first time I've heard of this. Usually the women in Europe have that reputation. People stereotype everyone. You should know by now that not every person is the same. There are some spoiled women and there are some who would love to even know what being spoiled is like. Guess it depends on the closed minded person making the comment. Thank you.

because we are. Most of us (men/women) are kinda spoiled. We live in a me-centered culture. What more can I say?

Lots of great plastic surgeons in the US and that is how they were raised, its just the society.
